Course details

Join our team and become a specialist in designing and developing digital services for users! You will have the opportunity to put your skills and creativity into practice to create websites, mobile applications, and other digital technical solutions. You will be at the forefront of the latest technologies and will be able to work in a team to carry out innovative projects.

Objectives of web developer training

This Bachelor in Web Development trains you over three years to identify and analyze needs in order to design and deploy digital solutions, while also performing maintenance and monitoring operations to develop or enhance an organization's activity.

Upon completion of your training, you are able to:

  • Design and specify a digital solution based on the request of an internal or external client, taking into account the constituent elements of its feasibility
  • Create iteratively the life cycle of a digital solution through prototypes and models based on expected functions and uses in order to validate the client's request

At the end of your Bachelor's degree in Web Development, you know:

Specify the client's request in relation to the objectives of the solution in order to produce the requirements specification document, to frame the development of the solution, based on their understanding of the project's issues and outcomes.

Carry out a state-of-the-art review of existing tools and methodological approaches in order to propose the optimal solution in terms of cost, feasibility, production deadlines, expected performance and sustainability.

Design the software architecture of the solution and the functional specifications in order to achieve the objectives defined by the requirements specification, based on technological and methodological recommendations.

Choose the tools and methodological approaches to implement for developing the solution, based on the project's objectives and constraints, while respecting software quality standards and best practices to ensure the smooth running of project production iterations.

Deploy appropriate testing and validation methodologies for the solution according to the chosen tools and methodological approaches, in order to ensure code quality, performance and security of the solution.

Resolve a critical situation for the survival of the project by relying on an investigation and ideation methodology in order to propose project turnaround solutions while maximizing the preservation of past achievements.

Program the solution, based on the specification documents and within the constraints of the project, while adhering to software quality standards and best practices.

Admission

French language level required:

  • TCF B1 or equivalent for the 1-year program,
  • TCF A2 or equivalent for the 1-year intensive reinforced program.

Students must also have a study project in the field of art and culture that fits into the Bachelor or Master programs of IESA or other art schools.
