From the very first year, we teach students a methodology aimed at developing their creativity. The challenge? Being able to propose solutions that are both relevant and innovative. We put them in a real-world scenario with a specific set of requirements to follow and teach them how to respond to it while avoiding clichés. To nourish their thought process, we ask them to look for references (literary, philosophical, artistic, etc.) that they can rely on to develop their own response. The development of creativity also involves a lot of experimentation. Classes at LISAA are primarily held in workshops: where one experiments, manipulates, tests, attempts, creates, undoes, and where learning from mistakes is encouraged.
In just 2 years, the Video Game Master's degree program offers you the opportunity to strengthen your skills in artistic direction and graphic creation for 3D video games. This program is a real springboard to access specialized positions such as character artist, concept artist, environment artist, lighting artist, material artist, hard surface modeler, texture artist, and tech artist, and thus facilitate your professional integration.
The 3D Animation Master's degree is a 2-year program accessible after completing a bachelor's degree in 2D animation, 3D animation, VFX, or video game design from LISAA or another digital animation school. Throughout this program, you will be immersed in the world of 3D animation and VFX, alternating between individual exercises and team projects supervised by active professionals. You will be required to complete a team-based final project, the conception of which will begin in the first year. The first year will be dedicated to writing and pre-production, while the second year will focus on production and post-production, including compositing, color grading, and mastering. Classes are held every other week, allowing you to complete internships or work alongside your studies. You will also have the opportunity to complete several internships during these two years, including a mandatory minimum of one month to validate your degree.

Result:
A video game created through an efficient and collaborative production process.
The first year of the Master's program will allow you to refine your artistic and technical skills and specialize in one of the professions involved in the video game production process. A pedagogical model consisting of dedicated modules is implemented. Students choose three modules that they will focus on throughout the program (specializations) and two optional modules in addition to the mandatory ones. This pedagogy immerses students in the reality of the professions, alternating individual exercises and team work.
In the second semester, you will carry out a short-term team project with game designers. At the end of the year, you will pitch your final project proposal to a jury composed of professionals from the industry.
The second year of the Master's program will allow you to develop technical and artistic skills on the same pedagogical model as the previous year. In parallel with the courses, you will continue to work on your game prototype. You will produce your project from A to Z, accompanied by professionals who will help you assess your progress and provide necessary insights throughout the year.
At the end of the year, you will present your game prototype in English to a jury composed of professionals from the industry. From June to December, you will have to complete an internship of up to 6 months to validate your diploma.
