About

LISAA

Arts, Design & Architecture

From the very first year, we teach students a methodology aimed at developing their creativity. The challenge? Being able to propose solutions that are both relevant and innovative. We put them in a real-world scenario with a specific set of requirements to follow and teach them how to respond to it while avoiding clichés. To nourish their thought process, we ask them to look for references (literary, philosophical, artistic, etc.) that they can rely on to develop their own response. The development of creativity also involves a lot of experimentation. Classes at LISAA are primarily held in workshops: where one experiments, manipulates, tests, attempts, creates, undoes, and where learning from mistakes is encouraged.

Course details

The Interior Architect & Scenography Design program allows you to become a professional in interior architecture and design, specializing in live performance scenography, museography, and retail events. After three years of general training, you can specialize in scenography design in the fourth year and complete the fifth year in alternating work and study. The program is available in French or English and includes mandatory internships in the third and fourth years, but it is also possible to do internships in the first or second year. This program delivers a level 7 certification and prepares you to enter the job market.

An international and innovative double-degree program.

After completing this training, students will be able to respond to client requests by designing and directing the implementation of interior architecture and/or design projects. They will master all the constituent elements of a project, such as space, furniture, product and packaging, service, interfaces, brand and digital communication. Graduates will be able to define an interior architecture and design program, create innovative solutions to meet client needs, and manage project implementation by working with selected service providers and suppliers.

What skills will you acquire?

The training offered by LISAA approaches the specialization of scenography through two distinct approaches. The first concerns live performances, with partnerships with recognized theaters, allowing students to work with renowned scenographers and choreographers, and to touch on the design of sets and costumes. The second approach concerns exhibitions and retail, where the work of the scenographer consists of enhancing a space, a product or an object by reflecting on the organization of elements and circulations. These skills are also used in the retail industry, for the layout of commercial spaces such as shops, pop-up stores or corners in department stores, by integrating a customer journey. Projects in partnership with Carrefour Source and Au bon moment illustrate the application of these skills.
