About

LISAA

Arts, Design & Architecture

From the very first year, we teach students a methodology aimed at developing their creativity. The challenge? Being able to propose solutions that are both relevant and innovative. We put them in a real-world scenario with a specific set of requirements to follow and teach them how to respond to it while avoiding clichés. To nourish their thought process, we ask them to look for references (literary, philosophical, artistic, etc.) that they can rely on to develop their own response. The development of creativity also involves a lot of experimentation. Classes at LISAA are primarily held in workshops: where one experiments, manipulates, tests, attempts, creates, undoes, and where learning from mistakes is encouraged.

Course details

This 360° training is designed for the cultural and creative industries (CCI) and trains experts in cultural management, whether it be in music, film, museums, media, etc. Students learn to use various tools such as video, motion design, interactive animation, web development, and storytelling. The training also covers topics such as micro-publishing, cultural merchandising, and artistic direction, making it a comprehensive transmedia training. Students can choose between initial training, which allows them to work on ambitious and innovative projects, or alternating training, which offers them significant professional experience by working for companies that pay them. This master's degree in artistic direction is an excellent opportunity for graphic designers who want to specialize in a rapidly developing sector.

What skills will you acquire?

The Art Direction training program for Cultural and Creative Industries (CCI)

This is a two-year Bac+5 level program open to students who have completed a Bac+3 level program in graphic design or motion design at a graphic design school, multimedia school, web school, or university.

This program allows students to acquire the following skills:

  • Develop expertise to negotiate and enhance their creative projects in one or more professional fields through targeted research, anticipate digital developments through personalized information collection, capitalize on completed projects to showcase them to clients, and negotiate the conditions for project realization and financing.
  • Propose and design a graphic creation project: define the target audience's universe for the client to identify a range of graphic possibilities, propose creative and diverse graphic solutions, present and argue a summary document or pre-project to the client to help them choose from the proposed graphic and creative options.
  • Manage a digital project: understand and solve all production issues in terms of human and material resources, coordinate and manage the various internal and external teams involved in the project, pilot the project by evolving it if necessary based on the issues encountered, support teams in resolving technical issues, lead a team by solving difficulties and capitalizing on ongoing experiences, and ensure project budget and financial monitoring.
  • Produce and finalize a graphic design project: produce a first final version for final validation by the client, adapt the project as necessary based on production and/or user feedback, follow the project's finalization steps until publication and/or distribution.
