About

LISAA

Arts, Design & Architecture

From the very first year, we teach students a methodology aimed at developing their creativity. The challenge? Being able to propose solutions that are both relevant and innovative. We put them in a real-world scenario with a specific set of requirements to follow and teach them how to respond to it while avoiding clichés. To nourish their thought process, we ask them to look for references (literary, philosophical, artistic, etc.) that they can rely on to develop their own response. The development of creativity also involves a lot of experimentation. Classes at LISAA are primarily held in workshops: where one experiments, manipulates, tests, attempts, creates, undoes, and where learning from mistakes is encouraged.

Course details

The Interior Architecture & Global Design program at LISAA Paris prepares you to become a professional in interior architecture and design. After three years of general training, you can specialize in interior architecture and global design, approaching design in a cross-disciplinary manner with a holistic project vision. This five-year (3+2) program delivers a level 7 certification and is available in French or English.

Mandatory internships will take place during the 3rd and 4th years, but it is possible to do internships as early as the 1st or 2nd year. LISAA Paris Interior Architecture & Design also offers a professionalization support program to help students find internships and apprenticeship contracts. Individual appointments, professionalization workshops/courses, coaching, interview simulations, and job dating are offered to students for their search for a professional or apprenticeship contract. 94.6% of apprenticeship students are in apprenticeship contracts and 5.4% are in professionalization contracts.

An international and innovative double-degree program.

LISAA, a renowned Parisian fashion school, offers an international education that allows students to develop their creativity while adapting to the evolving fashion and luxury market. Workshop sessions encourage co-creation with partner brands and inspiring professionals, while a strong education in fashion marketing and management enables students to position themselves in the market, manage their communication, and develop their professional network. Students also learn to master the entire collection creation process and manage all production phases with professionalism. With their creative, technical, commercial, marketing, and communication expertise, students are able to propose creative, strategic, technical, managerial, and operational solutions for international fashion groups and other industry players.

What skills will you acquire?

The specialization in global design offers students the opportunity to master large-scale projects by taking into account all their components, such as interior architecture, graphic design, product design, packaging, and digital interface. It also allows students to acquire skills in project management, team management, experiential marketing, and digital. Projects are carried out in partnership with companies and must meet their needs.

This global design skill is particularly relevant in the field of retail and commercial architecture, as it allows for the design of projects that respect the overall coherence of the brand.

As part of the redesign of a retail space, the interior designer-architect rethinks the space, layouts, circulation, designs furniture, and also works on the visual identity of the place, services offered to customers, and other related elements that serve the concept they have defined.
