IESA

Arts, Design & Architecture

The IESA arts&culture (Institute of Higher Education in Arts and Culture) is a private higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Communication. It trains students and professionals in the fields of art and culture.

All of the courses are taught by over 200 professional speakers to develop a perfect general culture, critical thinking, technical skills, and prepare future professionals for excellence and market developments.

Ideally located in the heart of the 11th arrondissement, the IESA arts&culture offers its students a unique space dedicated to training, research, production and dissemination of cultural events, exchanges, international openness and support for young startups.

Since its creation, the school has focused its pedagogy on the project mode in order to bring its students into a creative and concrete dynamic that allows them to integrate the professional world with real skills or to carry out their own projects. The professionalization path followed by students is just as important as the essential academic path.

The IESA arts&culture aims to train professionals who possess a good general culture, specialized knowledge, and acquired skills upon graduation.

Course details

You dream of producing and distributing films, series, documentaries or fictions for cinema, television or the web? This Master's degree is made for you! It offers you a complete professional training, which will allow you to understand the economy of the audiovisual industries and to master the methodologies of production, financing and distribution.

Project-based pedagogy

During the first year, you participate in a collective project (exhibition, cinema and audiovisual, heritage valorization, cultural tourism...) including a specialized festival in the audiovisual sector. You then carry out a practical case of production and realization of a short film under the guidance of a producer-intervener.

At the end of the first semester of the second year, you work on a practical case of 3 weeks which allows you to develop your expertise on artistic aspects, whether it is fiction or documentary works (writing and presentation skills on the artistic project of an audiovisual production). Throughout the year and under the supervision of a coach, you set up an audiovisual production: choice of teams that will help you realize it (director, actors, technicians), financing, regulatory monitoring, communication and first broadcasts.
