IESA

Arts, Design & Architecture

The IESA arts&culture (Institute of Higher Education in Arts and Culture) is a private higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Communication. It trains students and professionals in the fields of art and culture.

All of the courses are taught by over 200 professional speakers to develop a perfect general culture, critical thinking, technical skills, and prepare future professionals for excellence and market developments.

Ideally located in the heart of the 11th arrondissement, the IESA arts&culture offers its students a unique space dedicated to training, research, production and dissemination of cultural events, exchanges, international openness and support for young startups.

Since its creation, the school has focused its pedagogy on the project mode in order to bring its students into a creative and concrete dynamic that allows them to integrate the professional world with real skills or to carry out their own projects. The professionalization path followed by students is just as important as the essential academic path.

The IESA arts&culture aims to train professionals who possess a good general culture, specialized knowledge, and acquired skills upon graduation.

Course details

You dream of becoming a specialist in the management, administration and production of shows (music, theater, dance, circus, street arts)? Our training offers you the opportunity to develop your skills and put your knowledge into practice. From defining the programming of a venue to cultural communication and fundraising, you will learn everything you need to know to succeed in this exciting field!

Project-based pedagogy

During the 1st year, students work in groups to complete one of the 7 cultural projects proposed by the school, including the creation of a multidisciplinary festival and a music showcase. They also complete a practical case study lasting 6 to 8 weeks dedicated to the realization of a full-scale cultural project. With the help of a coach, students address both the artistic aspects of programming and the various technical aspects of each stage of the project.During the 2nd year, students develop their individual project for producing a show, accompanied by a coach. They delve into the conception, production, communication, marketing, distribution, and cultural mediation of their project. At the end of the year, they present their project to a panel of professionals.
