Interior Design and Decoration

From the very first year, we teach students a methodology aimed at developing their creativity. The challenge? Being able to propose solutions that are both relevant and innovative. We put them in a real-world scenario with a specific set of requirements to follow and teach them how to respond to it while avoiding clichés. To nourish their thought process, we ask them to look for references (literary, philosophical, artistic, etc.) that they can rely on to develop their own response. The development of creativity also involves a lot of experimentation. Classes at LISAA are primarily held in workshops: where one experiments, manipulates, tests, attempts, creates, undoes, and where learning from mistakes is encouraged.

If you want to start a career in interior design, our professional retraining program is perfect for you! You will learn how to design a project, present it, and implement it. You will learn this profession as closely as possible with all building professionals (craftsmen and building contractors, architects, interior architects and decorators, suppliers, insurers and lawyers...) by spending time on the field with them. You will have the keys to mastering the technical, legal and human aspects of construction management.

We will also support you on the entrepreneurial part of your project: agency creation, communication (public speaking seminar with the Cours Florent), and leadership (conflict management, talking about money...).

You will be trained in the following steps:

Delivered with innovative methodology and tools, the teaching combines online and face-to-face learning. Group dynamics and face-to-face communication are essential to us. Having flexibility in organization and limiting travel time is also important.

The Interior Design & Decoration training takes place over 9 months:

• 5 months of classes
• 3 months of internship/professional experience

To be admitted, it is necessary to have completed and validated a third year of higher education (180 ECTS) in the field of management, commerce, commercial relations or international relations.

This can be, for example, a professional license in international trade professions, a bachelor's degree in management and international business, a professional license in commerce, a professional license in sales professions or a bachelor's degree in sales and negotiation.
