IESA

Arts, Design & Architecture

The IESA arts&culture (Institute of Higher Education in Arts and Culture) is a private higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Communication. It trains students and professionals in the fields of art and culture.

All of the courses are taught by over 200 professional speakers to develop a perfect general culture, critical thinking, technical skills, and prepare future professionals for excellence and market developments.

Ideally located in the heart of the 11th arrondissement, the IESA arts&culture offers its students a unique space dedicated to training, research, production and dissemination of cultural events, exchanges, international openness and support for young startups.

Since its creation, the school has focused its pedagogy on the project mode in order to bring its students into a creative and concrete dynamic that allows them to integrate the professional world with real skills or to carry out their own projects. The professionalization path followed by students is just as important as the essential academic path.

The IESA arts&culture aims to train professionals who possess a good general culture, specialized knowledge, and acquired skills upon graduation.

Course details

You are passionate about the field of culture and you want to make it your career. Music, theater, cinema, and series are part of your daily life, and you are undecided whether you prefer to work with artists or organize a theater festival, work with the public or communicate with the press and social media for the launch of a new album. However, you are certain that your place is at the heart of artistic works and cultural productions!

This Bachelor's degree program offers you the opportunity to explore the cultural and creative industries and specialize in production and mediation or communication in the third year.

Training objectives

The objective is to acquire fundamental knowledge to develop the necessary skills for careers in the cultural and creative industries (CCIs), such as critical analysis of cultural productions, intellectual property law, and understanding audiences. The targeted certifications (production and mediation or communication) are obtained through the learning of methodologies and tools, as well as the completion of group and individual projects at the end of the program. Students explore the field of Cultural and Creative Industries and receive professional guidance to choose their career path and undertake internships and apprenticeships to enhance their CV. Ultimately, the goal is to foster students' curiosity and passion to enrich their professional and personal experiences.

Project-based teaching

During the training, you will carry out group projects in the 1st and 2nd years, which will allow you to acquire the methodology and skills that you will implement in your personal project in the 3rd year. This personal project serves as a synthesis of the teachings and your ability to showcase your personal expertise.

As part of acquiring various skills, throughout your training, you will also work on project-based learning to respond to practical cases in a professional setting. These project-based learning experiences will help you connect the different subjects you will learn and put them into practice.
