The role of a Tech Business Development Manager involves monitoring the commercial evolution of the product range/brand for which the professional is responsible, within the assigned area of responsibility in Tech companies or any company in need of high-value technological products. They also contribute to the company's strategy and its commercial development. In summary, the Tech Business Development Manager is in charge of managing, developing, and retaining a specific client portfolio. Their responsibilities encompass defining and implementing a commercial strategy and fall halfway between "sales" and supporting the sales force, giving them a central position within the company. Additionally, from a technical standpoint, the business development manager must be able to use customer relationship management tools and leverage the data. They must also be proficient in using office tools, whether for creating dashboards, drafting commercial proposals, activity reports, or presentation or training materials for teams.
