Le Tech Track of the PST&B Bachelor's program allows future leaders to acquire key skills in the Tech industry while assimilating the managerial methods necessary for effective company management.

The IT sector is hiring extensively, with numerous French companies seeking new qualified professionals to address technological and digital advancements. New professions are emerging, leading to new training programs. Engaged in a talent race, Tech companies are looking to recruit various profiles, with computer developers ranking first (study by the Grande école du numérique – January 2022).

In a rapidly changing technological era, the adaptation and integration of digital tools have become a necessity for businesses. Faced with these challenges that have become pillars of the future of companies, the need for developers capable of efficiently producing sustainable solutions that adhere to software quality standards, norms, and best practices has become a key aspect of competitiveness.

The PST&B Tech & Business Bachelor's program aims to train future designers and developers of digital solutions with a focus on learning high-quality software development to support the digital transformation of companies in the High Technology and Innovation sectors.

Ce Tech Track permet aux futurs leaders d’acquérir les compétences clés du secteur de la Tech tout en assimilant les méthodes managériales nécessaires pour l'organisation de leur travail mais également dans le pilotage efficace d’une entreprise. Plus précisément, ils seront en capacité de superviser une équipe de développeurs à la prise de décisions techniques, ergonomiques et fonctionnelles nécessaires à la conception de toute solution digitale.

The digital solution designer and developer identifies and designs digital solutions to develop or enhance the activities of an organization, whether it be a company, association, or administration. They have a mastery of programming languages that allow for database structuring, web or mobile interface design and development, and optimization of interaction between the interface and one or more databases, or even with other applications. They are professionals in digital project management.

Upon completion of this Bachelor's degree, you will have acquired the skills necessary to organize your missions within a company, enabling you to:

• Specify the client's requirements in relation to the solution's objectives in order to produce the requirement specification document, which frames the development of the solution based on an understanding of the project's stakes and outcomes.
• Conduct a state-of-the-art analysis of existing tools and methodological approaches to propose the optimal solution in terms of cost, feasibility, production deadlines, expected performance, and sustainability.
• Design the software architecture of the solution and the functional specifications to achieve the objectives defined by the requirement specification, relying on technological and methodological recommendations.
• Select the tools and methodological approaches to implement for solution development, based on the project's objectives and constraints, while adhering to standards and good software quality practices to ensure the smooth progress of project iterations.
• Implement testing and validation methodologies adapted to the solution, according to the chosen tools and methodological approaches, to ensure code quality, performance, and security of the solution.
• Resolve critical situations for the project's survival by using an investigative and ideation methodology to propose project turnaround solutions while maximizing the preservation of past achievements.
• Program the solution based on the specification documents and within the chosen iterative lifecycle management approach, while adhering to standards and norms of software quality and security, in order to iteratively extend the solution's scope.
• Leverage technological tools and/or approaches (frameworks, APIs, cloud solutions, mobile solutions, etc.) based on their ability to address the solution's objectives, in order to focus development efforts on the differentiating aspects of the solution to bring value to the client and users.
• Perform error corrections and code optimizations according to best practices of the language and ecosystem used, to ensure continuous improvement of the solution.
